A PATH BETWEEN HISTORY AND REALITY

In Dianella’s cellar the modern operations interacts everyday with the historical cellar, which has been transformed into an interesting museum to visit for guests.

THE CONCRETE CELLAR

The building of the new steel cellar was completed in the early ‘70s, connecting the production area with the underground cellar, which is still used. Starting from the ‘90s, there have been multiple investments in winemaking technology, culminating in the 2012’s refurbishing of the concrete cellar. This cellar is necessary in the maturation process during the passage from steel to wood.

THE BARREL CELLAR

The new barrel cellar, still operative with the old wood fermentation barrels, has been created in a collaboration with Garbellotto, whose staff worked for days in the small space to built the barrels. The cellar has a system which helps mantaining a constant temperature of 16/18° C and an 85% humidity.

THE BARRIQUE CELLAR

The barrique cellar has the same advanced temperature system as the barrell one. The barrique are in aged oak, coming from the best French makers.
